DSBF 3-year-old filly pacers in second leg at Dover Downs

Dover, DE – Two divisions made up the second leg for 3-year-old pacing fillies for $20,000 each at Dover Downs on Wednesday (Dec. 9) night.

In the early non-wagering event it was repeat winner Spinferno (No Spin Zone-Hurricane Jenna) in 1:54.3 for the meet’s leading driver, Tim Tetrick and trainer, Chuck Crissman,Jr. Owned by the Cook boys, Dale, Brendan, and Allen and bred by Virginia Louthan. Spin Sumthin was second and Cinder Rock finished third.

The second division lead off the daily double. Sweet Lil (Art Director-Blissful Lil) prevailed in 1:57 for driver, Tony Morgan and trainer, Jason Skinner. She is owned by George Minner and bred by Josephine Vincent. Second was last week’s winner, Foolish Wisdom followed by She’s Got The Lynx.

The $100k final is on Thursday, December 17th. The top eight point earners are Spinferno, Foolish Wisdom, Sweet Lil, Cinder Rock, Spin Sumthin, She’s Got The Lynx, I’m Two Soxy, and Bashful Smile.
