$1.3 million wagered on Jackpot Hi-5 at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Milton, ON — Horseplayers from all around took their shot at Saturday’s (Dec. 19) Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout at Woodbine Mohawk Park, wagering over $1.3 million in new money.

A total of $1,367,889 was wagered on Saturday’s Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory, joining a carryover of $335,940. The winning combination of 5-7-3-8-4 was popular, returning $808.73 for a 20-cent winning ticket.

Veteran pacer Rockin In Heaven moved to the lead in the second-quarter and never looked backed for 1:52.1 score in the Jackpot Hi-5 race. The 8-year-old went off as 9-5 favorite for driver J Harris and trainer Teesha Symes.

1st: No. 5 Rockin In Heaven – 9-5
2nd: No. 7 Sams A Champ A – 5-1
3rd: No. 8 Dreamfair Moxy – 12-1
4th: No. 3 Rootin Tootin – 4-1

Saturday evening’s total handle for the 11-race card was $3.4 million.
