Just like last year, Davidson du Pont with trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire finished second, while Gu d’Heripre with Franck Nivard just managed to get the better of Delia du Pommereux to take third.

The purse for the winner was 450,000 Euro or $545,000.

This victory was the fourth win in the Prix d’Amerique for trainer Sebastian Guarato, while Björn Goop won the race for the third time.

The 6-year-old Face Time Bourbon is sired by Ready Cash, who won the race twice, and now has sired three trotters, who combined, have won the Prix d’Amerique five times — an outstanding and unmatched record.

On the undercard, Team Snyders’ 5-year-old Swedish trotter, Aetos Kronos, trained by Jerry Riordan and with Jean Michel Bazire in the bike, won the Prix Bold Eagle with a purse for the winner of $54,500.
