Rainbowinthewest shakes off rust, wins Meadows co-feature

Washington, PA – Off nearly two months, Rainbowinthewest got a welcome pocket trip and converted it to victory in Wednesday’s (June 16) co-feature at The Meadows, a $10,300 Conditioned Trot.

Rainbowinthewest was away first for Brian Zendt but released the well-meant Tuesday Morning near the quarter. The 6-year-old daughter of Andover Hall-Miss Milwaukee roared through the Lightning Lane to defeat Harness AM, also in the lightning lane, by 1/2 length in 1:55.2. Tuesday Morning saved show.
