The Ohio and Michigan microchip travel schedule shaping up

Columbus, OH — Below you will find the current schedule of USTA ID Technician Mitch Nault. He will be visiting several locations in the next few weeks to provide USTA microchipping services for both racehorses and new foals.

The fee to microchip a racehorse with an existing freeze brand will be $35 and paid to the technician at time of service. All racehorses must be microchipped by Jan. 1, 2022, to be eligible to race in the new year.

Oct. 19–Approximate Time
Champaign County/Urbana Fairgrounds: 7-10 a.m.
Miami County/Troy Fairgrounds: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Darke County/Greenville Fairgrounds: 3 p.m. and after

Oct. 20
Warren County/Lebanon Fairgrounds: 7-11 a.m.
Greene County/Xenia Fairgrounds: 12:30-3 p.m.

Oct. 21
Delaware County/Delaware Fairgrounds: 7 a.m.-Noon
Morrow County/Mt. Gilead Fairgrounds: 1-2 p.m.
Knox County/Mt. Vernon Fairgrounds: 3 p.m. and after

Oct. 22
Wayne County/Wooster Fairgrounds: 8-10 a.m.
Stark County/Canton Fairgrounds: Noon-2 p.m.

Oct. 23
Fayette County/WCH Fairgrounds: 8-11 a.m.
Pickaway County/Circleville Fairgrounds: Noon-2 p.m.

Michigan: Oct. 14-15
This trip will be for horses east of St. Rt. 127
Mitch will start on the 14th in the southern part of the state and work his way up to approximately Interstate 96. The 15th will be for everything north of 96 and east of 127. He will leave the Saturday schedule open. Appointments are required. Do not assume that he will arrive at your farm or location unannounced.
