Jeffery P one of 7 wins for Palone at The Meadows

Washington, PA.–Jeffery P called the shots on the front but still had to hold off the late challenge of Keystone Chaos to capture Wednesday’s (Nov. 3) $16,000 Open Handicap Trot at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 3-5 favorite, Jeffery P rolled through a 1:24.3 three-quarters without a threat. When Keystone Chaos closed in, the 6-year-old Full Count-Betty Jean gelding responded to Dave Palone’s urging and defeated Keystone Chaos by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:53.1. Just Like Magic completed the ticket.
