French stallions dominate Swedish finals

The impact of French champion sire Ready Cash is found overall and the finals in the Swedish series E3 for 3-year-old trotters were both won by horses who have Ready Cash as a granddad.

The final for colts and gelding was won by Bedazzled Sox sired by Brillantissime (he by Ready Cash) and out of Out Of The Kitchen, she sired by Here Comes Herbie.

Bedazzled Sox is trained by Roger Walmann and was guided to victory by Torbjörn Jansson.

Bedazzled Sox won the 1-5/16th mile event in 1:56.4f (mile rate), beating the Finnish guest Corazon Combo, who lost his unbeaten status in race number 13.

Walmann was close to getting a double as he trained the favorite in the filly division, Eireann with Ôrjan Kihlström in the bike. But Eireann had to settle for second place, as the race was won by an outsider, who paid at odds of 124-1. That was Jörgen Westholm-trained Sparven with Mika Forss, who won in 1:58.2f (mile rate).

Sparven is sired by Bird Parker (he by Ready Cash) and out of Penelope Face (she by Viking Kronos).

The purse to the winner in each final, raced at the Sundbyholm track in Eskilstuna, was 1 million SEK — or approximately $100,000.
