French trainers and stallion Ready Cash dominate European championships at Vincennes

Vincennes racetrack in Paris, France hosted European Championship races for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old trotters Friday night (Oct. 14) and the home team dominated.

Sebastian Guarato trained two winners, 4-year-old Ideal du Pommeau with Matthieu Abrivard in the bike and 3-year-old Deus Zack driven by Eric Raffin.

In the 5-year-old Championship-race, it was Jean Michel Bazire, who won driving Heraut d’Armes.

French leading stallion Ready Cash sired two of the winners, Ideal du Pommeau and Heraut d’Armes and is the grand sire of Deus Zack, who is an Italian trotter sired by Victor Gio (Ready Cash).

Heraut d’Armes victory was in the European trotting Derby, The Grand Prix de l’UET, had a purse for the winner of 200.000 Euro, while the purse for the other two winners were 45.000 Euros, each.
