Northville, MI — Major Al-mar and driver Kody Massey captured their fourth straight win at Northville Downs Friday night (Oct. 22).

Sent for the lead from post position three, Major Al-mar tripped the beam to the opening quarter in :29.1, half in :59.3, three-quarters in 1:29.4, then stopped the timer at the wire in 2:00.1 over runner-up Jess Believe (Jason Merriman), winning by a comfortable 1-3/4 length margin for Melody Moore who leases and trains the gelding. Major Al-mar now has garnered over $125,000 in earnings lifetime.

Driver Kody Massey continued his hot hand by completing a driving double on the 10-race card. Driver Don Harmon also had a driving double.

Northville Downs will race its next live program Saturday, Oct 22nd. First race post time remains 7:30 p.m. each night and Northville Downs races each Friday and Saturday night through December 17.
