Silly But Serious romps to third straight in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — Silly But Serious had little trouble overcoming post eight and romped to her third straight victory in Thursday’s (May 11) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,500 claiming handicap pace for fillies and mares.

Although Silly But Serious was parked for most of the opening panel, she was untouchable once she crossed over for Dave Palone. The 6-year-old daughter of Captaintreacherous-I Need Hotstuff faced no serious challenges and drew off to score by 4-1/4 lengths in 1:52.3. Twin B Hello and Always A Z Tam rounded out the ticket.
