Foal registration, yearling names deadlines are Dec. 31

Columbus, OH – Baby it’s cold outside which means December is here and deadlines are in full effect. Before you enjoy too much eggnog, your member services team wants to remind you of the following.

Foal registration deadline is Dec. 31, 2023. This means all applications and mating certificates must be submitted, released online or postmarked by Dec. 31 to avoid the $265 late fee. Green mating certificates cannot be faxed or emailed. For a copy of the foal registration form, click here.

Calling UNNAMED yearlings. All UNNAMED Yearlings must have names submitted by Dec. 31 as well to avoid the $35 name change fee. You can submit your name choices via email to member services and must include the yearling’s registration number, microchip number or year of foaling and dam’s name. You can also complete the horse name change application and return via mail, email or fax.

If your last name starts with an A-D your USTA membership may be expiring on Dec. 31. You can check your membership expiration date on your free USTA MyAccount and renew today to guarantee no loss in your membership perks, including online entry, seller signature, free program pages and so much more.

If you have a registered stable with the USTA, this membership may also be expiring on Dec. 31. You should have received the renewal application in the mail if it is due. You can complete the form and return it in the mail, or you can contact member services to renew over the phone with a credit card. For a copy of the stable renewal form, click here.

Member services is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays. Stable renewal is not yet available online.
