Beissinger Memorial Service set for Saturday

Hamilton, OH — A memorial service for Ohio horseman Howard Beissinger will be held on Saturday (March 10) in Beissinger’s hometown of Hamilton, Ohio.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. with a brief service to begin at 10:30 a.m.

Beissinger was a member of the Harness Racing Hall of Fame since 1974 and he trained and drove Hambletonian winners Lindy’s Pride, Speedy Crown, and Speedy Somolli. He died in early February, three months short of his 95th birthday.

The memorial service will be held at the Webb-Noonan-Kidd Funeral Home at 240 Ross Avenue in Hamilton.
