SRF seeks new items for auction

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Millstone Township, NJ — One highlight of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s annual golf outing is the online auction of fabulous items. SRF is seeking memorabilia, collectibles, trips, sporting tickets, artwork, tours, and all other items to spice up the auction and help raise funds for the largest Standardbred adoption program in the country for nearly 30 years.

Last year’s items in the auction included Italian culinary cooking trip in Italy, an exotic sports car experience, Foiled Again’s shoes, drivers’ colors, John Campbell bobblehead, rides in race track starting gate cars, hanging out in the track announcer’s booth, signed framed prints of the Colors of the Hambletonian, and antique prints of Hambletonian.

SRF seeks donations of any kind to wow the auction to help raise much needed funds for the 351 trotters and pacers under its expense and care. With the tremendous growth in the demand on SRF to help Standardbreds, SRF is in great need. Some items may provide a tax deduction; all items are greatly appreciated.

The auction is in late May. To donate items, and to be added to our email reminder for the opening, please contact Tammy at 732.446.4422 or email SRFHorsesandkids@gmail.com.
