Millstone Township, NJ — One lucky mare has made it to the safety of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, but she has brought a surprise with her.

Tee’s Mean Machine showed up from the kill pen looking like she might be pregnant and SRF has confirmed that she is in fact in foal. Her due date, at best guess, is in February, and the father is a mystery.

SRF is not set up for what she will need or for handling a foal and seeks an experienced home or foster home for this healthy mare. She is just 12 years old.
