Fort Washington, MD — Maryland-sired freshman kick off three weeks of stakes at Rosecroft Raceway with some familiar faces and some new ones finding the winner’s circle in the first week of preliminaries on Saturday night (Nov. 11).

The first split for filly trotters opened the non-wagering card. Gaagaa Gone (Googoo Gaagaa) was back on her best behavior with regular driver Corey Callahan back in the bike romping to an 11-length victory in 1:58 with Whitesvilleshirley up for place. Callahan also owns and bred Gaagaa Gone while Richard Hans trains.

The first division for pacing colts and geldings saw Bo Breeze (Nuclear Breeze) return to the winners circle for the first time since mid-summer coming from fifth at the half to take a three-quarter length lead over Makin Money Fast in 1:55.4 mile. Shawn Murray trains for owner Murry Stable LLC. Callahan picked up the catch drive.

The second division for trotting fillies saw several leader changes with Four Deuces (Four Starz Robro) picking up her first stakes win with Brian Burton in the bike over TV Sensation in 2:00.2. Kelley Rogers is the owner/breeder and Judy Welty trains the filly.

Ross Wolfenden, picking up the drive for the injured Roger Plante Jr., guided Allie’s Finale (Allie’s Western) to his sixth win in nine starts stopping the timer in 1:55.1 for owners Leblanc Racing, Count De Money Stable, W. Lutz Jr., and J. Stuart. Steve LeBlanc is the trainer. Lloyd’s All In was second.

The preliminaries continue Sunday night (Nov. 12) with three non-wagering events starting at 5:40 p.m.
