Scarborough, ME — Five days following last weekend’s devastating storm, electrical power has yet to be restored at Scarborough Downs. With live harness racing scheduled for this weekend, track management has been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s (Nov. 4) card.

We remain hopeful that power can be restored in time to salvage Sunday’s live performance, and will keep you all updated with future postings on the track Facebook page.

With the Breeders’ Cup championships being raced Friday and Saturday at Del Mar, it is with regret that we announce that the simulcast wagering facility also remains closed. As with the live racing schedule, we will keep you updated regarding OTB wagering at the track on the Facebook page.

We share your disappointment with the current unfortunate situation, but please be assured that we are doing all in our power to return the Downs to normal operations, just as quickly as possible.
