Urbana Bayama rallied to post a 1:56.2 victory.

Urbana Bayama (Jordan Stratton, $34.60) snapped a 53-race losing streak Tuesday night (Oct. 24), surviving a first-up Yonkers Raceway trip to win the sloppy $8,000 eighth race pace.

Away fourth from post position No. 2, he defeated a pocketed Ransom Demand (Scott Zeron) by a nose in 1:56.2.

Urbana Bayama came in 0-for-24 this season and winless since mid-January of 2016, losing his last 29 starts of last season.

Paul Blumenfeld co-owns and trains Urbana Bayama, a 7-year-old son of Jereme’s Jet. It was Stratton’s fourth of five consecutive wins during the 12-race program.
