Yohn not seeking reelection in District 4B

from the USTA Communications Department

Columbus, OH — District 4B Director Robert Yohn has officially informed the U.S. Trotting Association that he will not be seeking reelection for another term on the USTA Board of Directors.

“I have really enjoyed my six terms on the USTA Board of Directors and will miss the many friends that I’ve made during the last 18 years,” said Yohn, who recently turned 71-years-old, in making his announcement. “It is time for a younger generation to take the reins.”

Any USTA registered member wishing to run for the open seat representing District 4B must complete the USTA Director Nomination Petition with at least 25 signatures of currently registered USTA members from that district.

The petition MUST be filed at the USTA Main Office at 6130 South Sunbury Road, Westerville, OH 43081 no later than Dec. 8, 2017 by Registered Mail, Return Receipt Requested.

Current District 4B member Bruce Alexander from Westfield, Wis., has already filed a proper nomination petition indicating that he will be running in the election.

The results of the election will be announced at the district meeting scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel in Madison, Wis.
