Anderson, IN — Tickets are officially on sale for grandstand seating at the 34th edition of the Breeders Crown at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday (Oct. 27) and Saturday (Oct. 28), 2017. The Breeders Crown, harness racing’s annual series of 12 championship events valued at $6 million, is returning to the Midwest for the first time in more than three decades and for the very first time on Indiana soil at Hoosier Park.

Grandstand tickets are $15 per person, per day, and include a reserved seat in Hoosier Park’s state-of-the-art Terrace Showroom, $10 in free race wagers or $10 in free dining, and an official Breeders Crown race program. Packages are available for purchase via Ticketmaster or in Hoosier Park’s box office at Shelby’s Gifts.

“The Breeders Crown will be two of the most exciting nights of harness racing in Hoosier Park history,” said Rick Moore, Hoosier Park’s vice president & general manager of racing. “It’s truly an honor to host this championship event for the very first time in Indiana, and we certainly look forward to sharing this weekend with our guests as well as racing fans across the world.”

General admission into Hoosier Park is free, including the night of the Breeders Crown, but general seating is not guaranteed. Breeders Crown updates can be found at http://www.hoosierpark.com/2017breederscrown.

Hoosier Park’s seven-eighths mile track, opened in 1994 and now owned by Centaur Gaming, is the 31st racetrack to host the Breeders Crown. It is the final host track featured in a three-year agreement announced in 2014 by the Hambletonian Society. Hoosier Park will be the first track to host the event in the Midwest since 1995, when it was held at Northfield Park in Ohio.
