Monticello Raceway fireworks on July 2

by Shawn Wiles, for Monticello Raceway

Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway will have its annual fireworks show on Sunday (July 2) at 10 p.m.

For decades the Monticello Raceway fireworks have been lighting up the sky and bringing smiles to many. There is a slight departure from the norm, as there will be no live harness racing that evening.

Admission is free for the fireworks display.

Monticello Raceway will resume its normal live racing schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a 12:50 p.m. post time, with day and evening simulcasting also available in the comfort of its state of the art simulcasting room.

The season’s first New York Sire Stakes event will be held on July 11, where 3-year-old filly trotters will take the stage.
