Clinton, ON — The track-side fundraising program is once again proving to be a success at Clinton Raceway. Three weeks into the 15-week season, the respective groups have raised a combined C$5,000 for their causes. It’s a win/win as the track benefits from new faces and the groups are able to utilize the facility and fans to help raise the money they need.

This Sunday (June 11), St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School was track-side with a BBQ, 50/50 and bake sale, raising money to put toward the athletics program at the Clinton-based high school during the nine-race card.

On track there was more action from post position four as it managed to win two races and show in four additional ones. It’s been a hot number so far this season at Clinton Raceway.

Driver Ryan Holliday scored four wins on the card, one second and two third place finishes.

Groves TV and Appliance was the Super Sunday Show sponsor, providing prizes for four lucky winners who entered their ballots from the live race program and the new bouncy ponies made their debut on track following the eighth race. (Photo attached)

Live harness racing continues at the Huron County oval for Father’s Day on Sunday (June 18). Community Living will be the track-side fundraiser and fans can win delicious baked goods from Bartliff’s Bakery and a BBQ prize package valued at C$500.
