Ft. Washington, MD — Roger Plante and Frank Milby posted driving triples on Wednesday night (April 26) at Rosecroft Raceway.

Plante guided Kerry Welty’s Third Coast to victory in a $7,000 conditioned trot in 1:55. It was a new lifetime mark for the 5-year-old Jailhouse Jesse gelding trained by Welty’s mom Judy. It was the ninth win of the meet for the Welty Stable.

One of Milby’s three wins came aboard SS Derby Girl. The 12-year-old daughter of Firm Belief won for the 46th time in her career in 305 starts. She also posted a new lifetime mark of 1:54.2 for owner-trainer Lewis Nunes.
