Trotting stallion Dr McDreamy dies

Columbus, OH — Trotting sire Dr McDreamy died Feb. 13, 2017, in a paddock accident at Ohio State University ATI, according to co-owner Ross Rice.

The 11-year-old son of American Native-Colors Of The Wind raced from 2008-2010 and won 13 of 37 starts and earned $223,981 with a mark of 3,1:53.3 at Balmoral Park.

As a stallion, he stood for five years in Indiana and produced 52 foals, with 19 starters that earned a combined $293,792.
