Harness Horse Youth Foundation seeks summer programs instructor

Westfield, IN — Do you have experience training Standarbred horses? Would you like to teach that skill to young people? If so, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation wants you. HHYF is seeking a summer programs instructor to coordinate the organization’s 2017 horsemanship camps and outreach events, while supervising care of the Foundation’s stable of Trottingbred horses.

Applicants should have experience training and shipping Standardbred horses, and experience in a teaching environment is beneficial. The position involves travel to multiple locations through the summer. A full job description and application is posted at http://hhyf.org/employment-opportunities.

Now in its fifth decade of service to harness racing, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses, in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans. The Foundation has been making a difference in young people’s lives since 1976, and its programs include interactive learning experiences with these versatile animals, scholarship programs, and creation and distribution of educational materials.
