Milligan’s School heading to Sweden

Milligan’s School, who was campaigned by Julie Miller, has been sold to Stefan “Tarzan” Melander and will be headed for Sweden before the New Year.

In Sweden he will be a stablemate to Nuncio and Uncle Lasse.

Milligan’s School has a mark of 1:53.2f and earnings of $539,726.

Milligan’s School was a $120,000 yearling purchase and as a 2-year-old he won divisions of the Bluegrass Stake and International Stallion Stake at Lexington.

This year he won five races, among them a couple of Pennsylvania Sire Stakes. He biggest purse check was a second in the Zweig Memorial behind Bar Hopping.

Besides Milligan’s School, Melander will get two other trotters to train from the United States, both owned by Courant A B. Those are Dominion Beach 3,1:53.4f ($174,301)and Dice Man 3,1:56.1f ($31,128).
