Columbus, OH — The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association would like to remind horsemen of some important upcoming deadlines.

Forms for the following deadlines can be found on the OHHA website, www.ohha.com.

The 2017 Feature Race Grant Program application for fairs is due Dec. 31. The Feature Race Grant Program is designed to assist individual county fair race programs to increase the purse for a feature race or races. More information and the 2017 application can be found on the OHHA website on the Ohio County Fair Dates/News page. Other grant opportunities for fairs are listed on this page as well.

Any breeder interested in applying for Ohio Breeder’s Awards, the mare registration deadline is Dec. 31. Forms can be found by clicking the Ohio Breeder’s Awards tab.

The OHHA annual awards banquet is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2017, at Doubletree by Hilton Columbus-Worthington. Reservation deadline for banquet and ladies luncheon tickets is Jan. 7, 2017. If you plan to stay over, deadline for room reservations at OHHA’s rate is Jan. 6. Reservation forms are on the OHHA Banquet Page tab.
