Theresademoninme nearly broke Harrington’s track record for older gelding trotters on Wednesday night.

The 5-year-old Kadabra gelding notched his eighth win of the year for trainer and co-owner Davis. Theresademoninme surged in deep stretch to eventually wear down a game pace setter in Westside Lindy for the win. Westside Lindy was second with Deacons Valley third.

The win time was just a fifth of a second off the track record, held by Traverse Seelster.

On the undercard, Ross Wolfenden’s Skyway Priss notched her third straight win in 1:56 for her owner/trainer/driver.

Wolfenden, who had two wins on the card, is locked in a fierce battle for the Harrington driving title with current leader Victor Kirby (120 wins). Wolfenden currently trails Kirby by three wins.

Meanwhile, trainer Joe Hundertpfund Jr., (33 wins), has clinched his second training title. Mike Hall has clinched second place with 27 wins.

Both honors will be awarded on closing night, October 20.
