The back portion of that unusual daily double was a trip to the 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building.

The accompanying photo features Tuomas Korvenoja (Jonesy, Finland), Ake Svanstedt (Resolve, US), Yannick Gingras (Hannelore Hanover, US) and Brian Sears (Flanagan Memory, Canada).

John Campbell, driving Denmark’s Tano Bork, was at the draw but was unable to join the others high above the city.

Again, post time for the rare Saturday program is 1:10 p.m., with the featured Yonkers International Trot going as the sixth race (post time 3:20 p.m.).
