Nicholas Salenetri, 66, dies

Columbus, OH — Nicholas Dominic Salenetri, 66, of Crosswicks, N.J., died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sept. 30, 2016.

Born in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, he was a life-long resident of the area.

As the owner of BNS Exhibit Pros, he was the president of the trade show logistics company for 21 years. His true passion was racing Standardbreds as the owner, driver, and trainer at Funny Farm Racing Stables.

He loved spending his time golfing with friends at OYCC, watching sports, cooking for family and friends, and walking with his favorite daughter, Sammie, his yellow lab and partner in crime.

Mr. Salenetri is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pat (Williams) Salenetri; daughters, Brandie and Nikki (Tom Garvey); sister-in-law, Beth Peroni; brother, Joseph and family; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, “adopted daughters” and grandchildren, Olivia and Marcus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas D. and Dolly (Sapio); and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Harry Williams.

The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 7) at D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 7) at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks Avenue, Bordentown. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

Calling hours will be held Thursday (Oct. 6) from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
