Washington, PA — The Meadows Racetrack & Casino has doubled — to $10,000 — the total-pool guarantee for its Saturday (Aug. 27) Pick-4 wager as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.

While $5,000 Pick-4 guarantees are offered each card, The Meadows sweetened the pot when Wednesday’s Pick-4 was uncovered, resulting in a carryover of $2,848.74.

Minimum wager for the Pick-4 (races four-seven) is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.

Saturday’s card also features the $140,000 Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old filly pacers and the Tyler B, a $186,672 PA Sires Stake for 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers. The card begins at the special post time of 11:25 a.m. to dovetail with the running of the Travers at Saratoga later Saturday.
