Gingras fined and suspended at Solvalla

It will not be just fond memories that Yannick Gingras will take back to the United States after his win with Pinkman at Solvalla on Sunday (May 29).

Gingras was suspended six days and fined $1,200.

He was suspended three days and fined $600 for causing a recall together with Johnny Takter, Bjorn Goop and Jim Oscarsson, and another three days and $600 for using his whip uncorrected according to the Swedish rules.

Some 28,896 fans were at Solvalla Sunday compared to 26,842 last year.

The winner of the Elitlopp, Nuncio, may race again in the Oslo Grand Prix at Bjerke in Norway on Sunday (June 12).
