OHHA Resource Guide released

by Regina Mayhugh, Communications Director, Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association

Columbus, OH — The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association is pleased to announce a member based OHHA Resource Guide.

The OHHA Resource Guide is meant to be a useful tool for those seeking goods, services, and information on Ohio’s racing participants and affiliated services.

The Resource Guide will be beneficial to anyone involved in the industry, including new owners, as a quick way to find contact information and a brief summary for those OHHA members who provide Ohio’s harness racing industry’s services.

It is anticipated that the Ohio Resource Guide will provide information for every facet of Ohio Standardbred racing including Ohio breeders, Ohio owners (Ohio based syndicates and fractional ownership groups), Ohio trainers, Ohio fairgrounds or private training centers, and Ohio racing industry suppliers.

The first phase of the guide, the Ohio trainer resource list, has been posted on the OHHA website on the OHHA Resource Guide page. That page is found under the “Ohio People and Horses” tab. The trainer resource list was generated on an opt-in, volunteer basis via a standardized form. The standardized form will remain available on the trainers page of the OHHA website for completion and submission.

The OHHA Resource Guide will be updated as frequently as possible.

Stay tuned as the OHHA Resource Guide grows and expands.
