Washington, PA — On Saturday (Jan. 9), the live card at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will feature a $7,757.69 carryover in the first race superfecta as well as a $5,000 total pool guarantee for the Pick-4, races four-seven.

The superfecta carryover resulted when no one correctly picked the top four finishers in Wednesday’s 15th race superfecta. Minimum wager for a straight superfecta is $2. However, bettors also may play 50-cent superfecta boxes and wheels. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, players wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.

The Meadows offers superfectas only on races with at least eight wagering interests. Should a scratch or scratches reduce Saturday’s first race field to seven or fewer, the carryover will be added to the first superfecta pool on the card.

The track offers $5,000 guarantees for each Pick-4 in association with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program. Minimum wager is 50 cents, so players wagering at that level must bet at least four tickets.
