Columbus, OH — The Ohio Standardbred Development Fund will meet at the Riffe Center, 77 South High St., 31st Floor, South Room B & C on Wednesday (Dec. 9) at 10 a.m.

Actions to consider:

• Approval of minutes from OSDF meeting on Nov. 17, 2015

• Approval of Northfield Park hosting OSS Super Night on Saturday (Sept. 3), 2016
— Schedule of 2016 OSS events, including older races
— Nomination fee for OSS series ($500)
— Starting fee for each leg is $500
— Championship starting fee is $1,000

• Eight, $50,000 consolations races at Scioto Downs on Monday (Sept. 5), 2016
— Consolation starting fee is $500

• Drop the qualifying times by one second and give a second for the first leg of the series (so the first leg would be allowed two seconds)

• All horses on the starting gate

• Raising stallion registration fees (rule change) to $1,000 or higher

• Approval of $100,000 contribution to OSU for research

• Approval of $150,000 advertising and promotional budget

• Discussion of 2016 budget
