Washington, PA — Do Me Honor stalked the leader from the pocket, then blew by in the Lightning Lane to capture Monday’s (Nov. 16) $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Hidden Land rolled through a swift 1:23.3 three-quarters but was unable to separate from the field. Do Me Honor, who was making her second start off a six-week freshening, found the Lightning Lane in time for Aaron Merriman and downed the rallying Macharoundtheclock by a nose in 1:52.1. Mamas Fallen Angel saved ground and earned show.

Bill Bercury owns and trains Do Me Honor, a 7-year-old daughter of Cheyenne Rei-Do Me Right who now boasts $655,064 in career earnings.

Tony Hall piloted three winners on the 15-race card.
