Indiana Horse Racing Commission seeks Executive Director

Indianapolis, IN — The Indiana Horse Racing Commission seeks candidates to fill its position of Executive Director.

The Executive Director, appointed by the Commission, must have a background in the horse racing industry, a high level of management skills and previous experience with horse betting administration. In addition, this individual should have extensive executive level experience in leadership, communications, and possess a high degree of integrity.

This individual will lead the Commission as they expand their mission to include instituting marketing and promotion initiatives while maintaining the strong regulatory role the Commission is already known for.

“We are looking for a unique individual who can bridge the gap between preserving the high level of integrity the Commission has established and growing the industry through new and innovative marketing and promotion initiatives,” stated IHRC Chairman Thomas Weatherwax.
