Washington, PA — On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the live card at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer two $10,000 total-pool guarantees — one for the Pick-4, the other for the Pick-5. Both are offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Initiative.

While a $5,000 Pick-4 guarantee is a regular feature each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, The Meadows doubled the guarantee when Monday’s Pick-4 was uncovered, resulting in a carryover of $2,929.14. The track added the “instant” Pick-5 guarantee after no one hit Monday’s Pick-5. That produced a two-day carryover of $2,943.83.

Minimum wager for the Pick-4 (races 4-7) and Pick 5 (races 11-15) is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.
