French victory in Italy

The prestigious Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli, raced Sunday afternoon (Nov. 1) at the La Maura track in Milan, was won by the French trotter Charly du Noyer, driven by Yoann Lebourgeois, who took an early lead and stayed there.

Charly du Noyer won the 1-3/8th mile event in 1:59.2f (mile rate).

This was another big win for an offspring to the top French sire Ready Cash.

The 3-year-old Charly du Noyer won the 1-3/8th mile event in 1:59.2f (mile rate) and picked up a check for $100,000.

The filly division was won by 18-1 shot Talisker Horse (sired by Pine Chip), driven by Alessandro Gocciadoro in 1:57f. The purse for the winner was $30,000.
