Dan Noble won six races on Monday at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.

Noble’s successful evening started by copping both ends of the daily double with Medoland Kendolin ($20.60), who upset a field of maiden mares in 1:57, and Hobsons Choice ($13.00), who bested bottom-level conditioned trotters in 1:58. For those that favored Noble and the innermost post position in the pair of early races, the daily double returned a generous $130.20 payoff.

Noble didn’t reach the winner’s circle again until the ninth race, but then reeled off four wins in the next five races. Mikes Hope ($7.60) captured a conditioned pace in 1:55, followed in quick succession by victories with Talk Back ($7.80, 1:53.2) in a $6,500 claimer, A J Corbelli ($4.60, 1:52.2) in a top conditioned race, and Newspeak ($12.60, 1:52.4) in another $6,500 claiming event.

With the half dozen wins, Noble moved into a tie with Jeremy Smith for fifth place in the competitive Hollywood Dayton drivers standings, despite missing 11 of the first 28 days of the meet. The present leaders, in order, are Josh Sutton, Kayne Kauffman, Chris Page and Randy Tharps.
