Allamerican Legacy, with owner Deb Schiff and family, was the High Point Adopted Horse and High Point Standardbred champion.

With more than 900 entries showing from nine states and Canada, this show does a tremendous job of offering retired Standardbreds a chance to show off their skills beyond the track.

Classes were offered in showmanship, western, english, speed racking, dressage, jumping, contesting, and driving. The show even had two international competitors that came from Israel and Africa to compete.

Co-show manager Chris Glover stated, “We could not do this without the support of our sponsors. We try to put on a show where the versatility of the Standardbred is highlighted and celebrated.”

The War Horse in halter class was very moving for Dot Morgan, Executive Director of New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program.

“With 12 war horses standing in an arena with total earnings of over $3,575,000 combined, was very awesome to see,” Morgan explained. “It is so nice that this show gives the many people who now own off-track Standardbreds a place to show and compete against their own breed. Ohio Standardbred and Friends does an excellent job of putting on this nice show.”
