SRF’s Trotoberfest benefits the kids

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Millstone Township, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s Trotoberfest brought the Monmouth County Knight Riders 4-H to brush, braid and fuss over some of the 65 trotters and pacers in need of homes located at the facility SRF uses in New Jersey.

“What a wonderful group of kids, and the horses enjoyed all the attention,” said Suzanne D’Ambrose, a volunteer who organized the cleaning session for the horses.

Some of the horses enjoying the attention were JP Jackpot, Miss Yoshi, Benny Marvel, Candlestick Maker, Kokorama, Woman Warrior, Tyler’s Belle, All Trot, Houdini’s Show, Kelly’s Doll, OG’s Charlene and Converse Hanover.
