Daily Racing Form is newest sponsor of the Innovators’ Circle

from the UA Race Track Industry Program

Tucson, AZ — The Race Track Industry Program today announced that Daily Racing Form will be a sponsor and judge of this year’s Innovators’ Circle pitch competition to be held on Wednesday (Dec. 9) at the Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming.

Innovators’ Circle is designed to stimulate innovation in the horseracing industry. The final round, presented as a Symposium session open to all attendees, consists of the entrepreneurs’ pitch to a panel of executives. The pitch will be followed by a Q&A session during which the judges have the opportunity to challenge the entrants with a series of questions similar to the popular television show, Shark Tank. The winning participant/team will earn a cash prize.

“We are looking forward to participating in this new competition,” said John Hartig, Chairman & CEO, Daily Racing Form. “We believe it’s our mission as America’s Turf Authority to continue to innovate and expand racing’s future. We look forward to judging the final presentations and potentially collaborating on some new projects.”

Daily Racing Form has been very supportive of the program throughout the years and is one of our best lead generators for new students to find out about our Race Track Industry Program,” said Doug Reed, RTIP Director. “We are happy to have them on board for this exciting event which is drawing a great deal of interest.”

The contest website is www.innovateracing.com.

The 42nd annual Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming will be held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, in Tucson, Ariz., Dec. 7-9. Additional sponsorships are available for this event. For more information contact Doug Reed.
