Don Irvine Jr. drove Hidden Land to a track record triumph in 1:51.4.

The clocking broke the 1:52 4-year-old pacing mare record by Lease Ness Monster (Ronnie Wrenn Jr.) set earlier this year.

The partnership of William Sartin and Mark Salerno own Hidden Land. Brad Irvine is her conditioner and Don Irvine Jr. was in the sulky for the winning drive.

Hidden Land (Badlands Hanover-Armbro Ocasey-Abercrombie) started from post eight. She led her competition through fractions of :26.4, :55.3, 1:23.4 and 1:51.4. There was never really an anxious moment for the winner, who bested her competition by 2-1/2 lengths.

Hidden Land now has four wins in 28 starts this year. Friday’s victory represents her ninth career score and bolstered her bankroll to $89,157. She returned $18.00 to win.
