Here Comes Herbie to stand in New York

from Blue Chip Farms

Wallkill, NY — Blue Chip Farms is pleased to announce that it will stand Here Comes Herbie in 2016.

With a mark of 3,1:52, he is the second fastest son of Credit Winner and a Hambletonian elimination winner. And like his dad, he has shown himself to be a stakes caliber sire, having produced such top trotters as millionaire Mister Herbie and 2015 Maple Leaf Trot elimination winner Natural Herbie. Twenty percent of his starters greater than 2 years of age have made more than $100,000 and/or trotted in 1:55.

Here Comes Herbie also boasts a royal pedigree. Out of D Train, he is a half-brother to $3 million earner and top Pennsylvania sire Donato Hanover.

New owners Dr. Herb J. Burns and Blue Chip chose to do a joint venture with the horse on a private treaty basis.

Blue Chips’ Tom Grossman stated, “I am thrilled to have Herbie (the horse) back in the Blue Chip family. Herbie’s (the man) passion is matched only by my own.

“We look forward to the challenge of putting together, and effectively servicing, a limited boutique book of our own and selected partners’ mares that will represent a huge step forward in Herbie’s opportunity.”

Here Come Herbie has settled in well at Blue Chip from his former home in Indiana.
