Nichols, NY — The Tioga Downs race office has announced a starter series for the next three Fridays, open to pacers who have raced for a claiming price of $5,000 or less in at least one of their three most recent starts.

A one-time $50 entry fee covers the entire series, with preliminary rounds held on Friday (June 19) and Friday (June 26). The preliminary events will each carry a $6,000 purse, and the top nine money earners from those two weeks will meet in a $10,000 final on Friday (July 3).

Horsemen are advised to enter as normally, with entries (and thus nominations) due to the race office no later than 9 a.m. on Tuesday (June 16). Entry fees are due on the day a horse first races in the series.
