Campbellville, ON — Woodbine Entertainment Group today announced Peter Holland, currently a center for the Toronto Maple Leafs, will be the guest drawmaster for the 2015 edition of the C$1 million Pepsi North America Cup.

The Pepsi North America Cup post position draw will be held on Tuesday (June 16) at Mohawk Racetrack and Holland, 24, will be on hand to assist with the festivities. The media event will get underway at noon.

The C$1 million Pepsi North America Cup, Canada’s richest harness race, will be contested on Saturday (June 20).

A native of Toronto, Holland played his junior hockey just down the road from Mohawk Racetrack as a member of the Guelph Storm. He was the first round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and played his first NHL game in November 2011.

Holland returned to his hometown in 2013 when he was traded from the Ducks to the Maple Leafs. Since joining the Maple Leafs, Holland has played in 101 regular season games.

On Saturday (June 13), Holland will be taking part in the 2015 Pan Am Games torch relay as a torch bearer through Caledon East.
