Today it became official. Stefan Melander has decided to race Nuncio in Elitloppet at Solvalla on May 31.

Nuncio, who last year was one of the leading 3-year-olds in North America, has raced twice in Europe this year and has won both of his starts at Solvalla.

At present 11 of the 16 horses for Elitloppet are ready, with five more to be found.

This Saturday another North American trotter can make his way to the field if he makes a good impression at Gävle. That is Creatine, driven by Robert Bergh, who makes his second start in Sweden. He disappointed his first time out, but Bergh, who already has Nahar in Elitloppet, is very confident about Creatine.

Creatine will meet Maven on Saturday; she is already invited.

The following trotters are invited at this time: Timoko (France), Maven (USA), On Track Piraten (Sweden), Wind Of The North (USA), B.B.S.Sugarlight (Norway), Support Justice (Norway), Nahar (Sweden), Voltigeur de Myrt (France), Magic Tonight (Sweden), Univers de Pan (France) and Nuncio (Sweden).
