Yonkers, NY — Yonkers Raceway has canceled its live racing program and evening simulcasting for Thursday (March 5) due to the snowstorm that’s descended upon the greater New York area. It is the eighth weather-related cancelation this season.

Though Aqueduct has also canceled for the day, Yonkers’ afternoon/early evening simulcasting is continuing until approximately 6 p.m.

Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday (March 6), with first post at 7:10 p.m. Note that Friday’s card includes a Pick-5 carryover of $3,743.02 (50 cent base wager, races seven through 11).

Horsemen are advised that there is no draw today, with a two-fer (for Tuesday/Thursday, March 10/12) taking place Friday (March 6), box closes at 4 p.m. Note Tuesday’s box remains opens until then. Any questions, contact the race office at 914.457.2627.
