Lebanon, OH — War Cry Hall made it three in a row on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 1) at Miami Valley by capturing the $16,500 Open Trot.

War Cry Hall just edged Mr Web Page to capture the $16,500 Open Trot over a sloppy track at Miami Valley on Sunday.

Driver Josh Sutton urged the winner past Mr Web Page (Chris Page) in the final strides despite a sloppy track caused by steady rainfall throughout the day. Can’tcutthatchip (Jack Dailey) was a fast-closing third in the feature race.

Favored Rehab Mountain (Brad Hanners) cut fractions of :28.4, :58.4 and 1:29 before tiring in the late going.

RBH Ventures Inc. owns War Cry Hall, who earned $99,010 in 2014 before returning to Ohio at the beginning of the year. He has visited the Miami Valley winner’s circle on three straight occasions, including two Opens. Leading trainer Virgin Morgan Jr. trains the 6-year-old son of Cash Hall.
