Allan Davis wins four on Sunday at Dover

Dover, DE — Allan Davis was hot on a cold Sunday (Jan. 11) at Dover Downs, driving four winners including Ourea Nourrir in the $15,000 claiming pace.

After consecutive come from behind second place finishes, Davis got Ourea Nourrir to the front early and the Dragon Again-Odds On The Hat gelding did the rest, recording a 1:52.4 victory in the Delaware $15,000 male claiming pace. Cash Cab (Ron Pierce) finished second but was placed third behind Dancing Rusty (Tony Morgan).

Meet leading trainer Wayne Givens conditions the 7-year-old for Sharon White and Legacy Racing. The win is the 23rd lifetime for the career winner of $293,100.

Pinearosa and Eddie Davis Jr. took no prisoners on the way to a 1:54 conquest in a Delaware $10,700 pace. Veteran Bobby Myers owns and trains The Panderosa-Pinehaven Amber 4-year-old gelding. Well Did (Trace Tetrick) raced second all the way while Youmakemewanadance (Jonathan Roberts) took third money.

Drivers Jim Morand and Bret Brittingham had two wins each while trainers Wayne Givens and Don Brittingham also won two races each.
